My Acknowledgement to Country

I acknowledge the Palawa people as the Traditional Custodians of Lutruwita (Tasmania), the land on which I live and work. I pay my deepest respects to their Elders past and present and recognize their enduring connection to the land, waters, and skies.

I honour the strength, wisdom, and resilience of the Palawa people, whose culture and knowledge have shaped this land for thousands of generations. I acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded—this always was, and always will be, Aboriginal land.
